From Wednesday 14 October 2009, tickets for French trains running on the new winter timetable will go on sale. The timetable change from summer to winter schedules takes place on Sunday 13 December 2009 and it is now possible to book trains departing on 13 December 2009 and up to 3 months in advance. You can either take a Eurostar and then a connecting European ski train direct to your resort or take the Eurostar direct ski train, either overnight or during the day. Prices start from £99 return to the slopes and both day and night trains run constantly to most destinations in the French and Swiss Alps, and the Pyrenees, as well as Andorra, Austria and Northern Italy. This form of transport surely has to be the best way to maximise your time in resort.
Stopover Connections works with selected bed and breakfast and small hotel accommodation in the French Alps and in the Pyrenees close to the more intimate ski resorts of the region.
