Chantal and Pascal were great. Their hospitality was really very nice. They had no problems with us showing up even later then expected and still yet offered us a cup of tea! The manor is absolutely wonderful... I have never slept in a more peaceful surrounding. Quiet is an understatement!! They have done a wonderful job making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms were very clean and the newly renovated bathrooms are great. I highly recommend this manor to anyone. Pascal makes wonderful cake and a great pot of coffee. Chantal surprised us when we found out she is French... only because her English is so good. We will not only recommend their manor to our friends, but also the stopoverconnections for booking. Thanks for helping to make our trip a memorable one. - The Curtis family, Germany
Recently stayed at property 232 south of Cherbourg in Normandy, unfortunately only for 1 night. We cannot speak highly enough of this beautiful manor house and the wonderful hospitality of the hosts Chantel and Pascal. The property is delightful. Beautiful grounds, lovely rooms, delicious breakfast with home made produce - The Montandons, UK
Just a quick word about our stay. We stayed for three nights at the bed and breakfast ref 232 in St Mere Eglise, Normandy. We were on a D-day discovery mission and the accomodation is excellently placed for all the relevant stops and just five minutes from Utah beach. Excellent accomodation with wonderful hosts. The property is also worth considering because of its proximity to Cherbourg should you be returning on the early ferry. Just 30 mins from the accomodation. Eating out is restricted but the two "Allo Allo" restaurants we used were excellent - The Jones family, UK
Our stay at the accommodation near Sainte Mère l'église was top notch. The property was clean and very inviting. The home is a must stay location. Our hosts were very warm and attentive. We would highly recommend this B&B to everyone. - the Heubecks
Just writing to let you know how much we enjoyed our recent stay at the bed and breakfast accommodation in Normandy. The hospitality was wonderful and the rooms were clean, spacious and very comfortable. We would definitely recommend it for holidays and stopovers in Normandy - The Borgman family
This bed and breakfast accommodation is the perfect place to stay if you wish to experience the charm of rural Normandy towns AND visit famous WWII battlefields. It's a quick drive to almost every war memorial and is located just outside St. Mere Eglise, which is where the paratroopers famously dropped on D-Day. The manor is 500 years old! But our accommodation was very modern and updated. Guests take a stone spiral staircase, worn down by hundreds of years of walking, to la chambre de la tour, which is where we stayed. It is at the top of the house and is a spacious room with a pitched roof, exposed ancient beams and a nice, clean bathroom. It was chilly outside but warm inside, so no need to fear a dank, damp castle; this is just the opposite. The WiFi works only downstairs, but the downstairs sitting area was very comfortable. If you're allergic to cats, do know that there are at least two who hang out downstairs. If you're looking for a restaurant in nearby St. Mere Eglise, go to Le John Steele! It was really excellent. We highly recommend this lovely manor. The Normandy location and accommodation can't be beaten - the Hirts
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the B&B in Normandy. The house was beautiful, clean, and full of unique character with spacious, well-equipped bedrooms and comfortable beds. We especially loved the garden. Our breakfast was delicious, and included home made bread - a very special treat. The location was useful for visiting the D Day beaches, so this worked out very well for us. Thank you for recommending! - the Haymans
My wife and I both thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the very pleasant and tranquil surroundings of the B&B near Saint Mère Eglise in Normandy. We were made very welcome by our hosts who did all they could to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Our room was excellent, breakfast splendid particularly with the home made bread , jams and preserves. A very enjoyable stay and I'm sure that if we return to the area which I'm sure that we will as there is still a lot to see we would very much like to stay there again. Please pass on our sincere thanks and best wishes to them - Mr & Mrs Cox
We can't thank Pascal and Chantal enough for the generous hospitality they extended to us in April, 2018 while we stayed at their lovely manor house B&B near Saint Marie de la Mer in Normandy. My husband, granddaughter and I stayed for three nights and we thank our hosts for all the wonderful suggestions and the help they extended to make our stay memorable. I highly recommend these accommodations along with the delicious breakfast that Pascal served us each morning - The Nore family
My wife and I were extremely pleased with our short stay at the charming B&B near Sainte-Marie. Our hosts were very charming and kindly returned my wife's clothes that we unfortunately left behind in the wardrobe!
The manor and its garden are very beautiful and we just loved it. It was also a great base from which to visit the historical sites of the D-Day landings in this special 75th- Anniversary year - The Cohens
