Thanks for your help in arranging our one night at the Chateau accommodation in Normandy. You asked for comments about it so here they are! It was excellent! Our ferry was delayed which meant that we did not get to the hotel until 9pm so we phoned ahead to let them know, not expecting at that time of night to be able to get a meal - how wrong we were! We were whisked into the dining room and enjoyed a delicious four course dinner with wine and calvados and fantastic company. The chateau is beautiful and the rooms very comfy with lots of attention to detail. We will definitely do the following: 1) go there again 2) recommend it to our friends 3) use your services again, and 4) recommend you to our friends too! Many thanks for all your help. - The Rothwells, UK
We were really pleased with the service given to us by Stopover Connections. It didn't matter that we were only booking a one night stay. The help was fast & efficent. We stayed at the Chateau near St Lo for 1 night. It is a beautiful place. Our room was wonderful. A huge 4 poster bed in a very large room, so quiet that we could hear the fountain outside in the garden. I could feel my blood pressure going down. We booked for dinner in the evening and that we also enjoyed. Just note that there is no choice offered but we were given a very nice meal. Though what we really enjoyed was the company at the table. We had a lovely break and hope to return in the near future. Thank you for your help in organising it for us. - the Molloys, Ireland
We stayed at the Chateau on the night of 16th August and our stay was very enjoyable! The family room we had was beautiful and the surroundings were fantastic. Breakfast was very good ..only sorry we didn't have an evening meal ! This was our own choice. Anyway only good things to say about the Chateau. An excellent stopover on the way to Cherbourg. - the O'Leary family, UK
Great place. Wonderful meal. Superb accommodation. Would visit again tomorrow. 5 star - the Purbricks
The chateau accommodation in Normandy was an excellent stopover with good accommodation and a first class evening meal, would certainly recommend it. - Lucas
It is owned and run by a 10 times Tour De France stage winner from the 1970's, and it is immaculate. The evening meal they refer to is held in the grand dining hall with your hosts and all other guests - around their huge dining room table. No menu - you just sit down and enjoy a 4 course dinner, all local food & wine etc. Brilliant - better food and service than you will get at any local restaurant. This place is thoroughly recommended, and great value. We will definitely go back there - the Dickens family
