Bed and breakfast near Dieppe and Rouen in Normandy France

ID: 481
This is a simply lovely B&B near Dieppe (40 mins) in Normandy. It's in a sweet little village, not only close to Dieppe but also just 90 minutes from Calais and Boulogne and 50 minutes from both Rouen and Amiens. You won't have to stray far off the autoroute either as the B&B is just 6 miles off the A28 which runs between Abbeville and Rouen in Normandy.

If you fancy a short break in France to discover the WW1 battlefield sights, this B&B is a great base. It's just 8 miles from the Somme border and only a 45 minute drive from Amiens, Le Treport, St. Valéry-sur-Somme and Abbeville. The Opal Coast is well worth exploring too, with its sandy beaches and little fishing villages.

The guest accommodation is independent of the British owners' house and gives you all of the privacy you could want. It's wonderfully peaceful and the owners are always on hand should you need them. You'll arrive as strangers but leave as friends - guaranteed!

Your continental breakfast with fresh croissants from the boulangerie is served in the dining area on the ground floor, overlooking the garden. This is also where Judith's delicious home-cooked dinners are served - highly recommended! The cottage has tea and coffee making facilities and you can enjoy Freesat TV which gives all the British TV stations and some European also.

This B&B near Dieppe was far and away the finest bed and breakfast accommodation that we have ever stayed at in France (we enjoyed some of your selections last year). Barry & Judith were fantastic hosts, the cottage was ideal for two OAPs like us, the house and gardens were delightful and Judith's catering was extremely good. It was like spending a day with old friends - The Stringers

A very enjoyable stay at this b&b near Dieppe, could have happily stayed there longer. Judith & Barry are lovely hosts. We were held up at the tunnel port and were going to be late for dinner, after ringing them in a panic were told not to worry and they held dinner for us which I may add was delicious. It's like staying with old friends, certainly won't be using the faceless chain of hotels again. This is far nicer. - The Clarks

Just to let you know that "Stopover Connections" has two "Diamonds" in their midst, Judith and Barrie. We had a very enjoyable stopover at their B&B near Dieppe, both to and from U.K. Every consideration had been given to making our stay comfortable, enjoyable and great fun. In fact we felt, we were saying "Goodbye" to good friends. Long may they continue to offer such a glorious stay - The Donovans

As you can probably guess, we very much enjoyed our stay with Judith and Barrie. We were impressed by the high level of comfort and thoughtful detail that the property offered. They were extremely considerate and hospitable hosts and provided an excellent dinner and breakfast. I think that we all enjoyed our wide ranging conversation through the evening - so much so that in spite of a long journey that day, we had no problem in staying awake! We would have no hesitation at all in recommending this ‘Stopover’. We are glad to have discovered it! - the Birds

What a charming couple and wonderful hospitality. Lots of warmth and conversation over a delicious evening meal. Strongly recommended for an overnight B&B stopover. - the Blakeley-Glovers
