The four poster bed and Panten-influenced chandelier give this room a contemporary edge, which follows through to the bathroom. Chocolate browns and silvers set the tones and the original built in wardrobe now adorned with mirrors gives the room a nice balance of the old and the new. There is only one word to describe this accommodation in the Pas de Calais - PERFECT! The Thorntons
I just wanted to contact you to say how delighted we were with this accommodation...and everything else! The bedrooms were fabulous and the beds the comfiest I have ever slept in. The house itself was beautiful and very tranquil. The breakfast was perfect and most importantly the owners made us feel most welcome from the minute we got out of our cars...they couldn't do enough for us, were at hand for anything we needed but also discreet and non intrusive. We would thoroughly recommend this bed and breakfast accommodation and hope we can enjoy a stay in the not too distant future. - the Masih family
Just to let you know our stay at the bed and breakfast near Calais was excellent. The house is amazing, beautifully furnished throughout with a stunning lounge and dining room. The bedrooms were individually styled, both equally as lovely. Comfortable beds and large en suites with beautiful baths. The hosts greeted us on arrival with the offer of a welcome drink and showed us around the whole house , making us feel very welcome and free to use the whole house and gardens. We felt like we were visiting friends. Dinner in the evening was excellent- of good restaurant standard , a wine and drink list available at reasonable prices and again the hosts were so friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast also excellent. We will definitely return and recommend this property highly, it was just one hour drive to Calais and perfect for a stop on our way home. Thanks for our very enjoyable stopovers it made our holiday perfect - The Whites
This was just an amazing place to stay and Nicolas’ hospitality and welcome was exceptional. The house and rooms were so spacious, with this wonderfully extravagant Art Deco theme throughout. Food was delicious and beautifully prepared and presented, and the breakfast featured five unusual ‘confitures’ all made by Nicolas. His scrambled eggs lived up to their high reputation. All in all, a great experience and a great welcome! - Mr & Mrs Quarmby
