Perfectly placed B&B in Dijon near Burgundy vineyards

This B&B in Dijon in Burgundy really is in a cracking situation not only for visiting this fine old town, but also if you need a stopover on your north-south journey.

The B&B is a mere 2kms to the west of the town centre, 5 minutes by car or 15-20 mins on foot from the station. It is also just 5 minutes from the ring road and the A6 autoroute.

But despite the B&B's proximity to Dijon centre and to the major road network, the Lac de Dijon, the canal towpath and numerous footpaths are just 10 minutes away on foot.

Fancy exploring the Burgundy 'route des grands crus' wine route and visiting the vineyards and wine cellars? This too starts just 5 minutes away by car.

You won't need to leave the house if you want to relax after your journey. Instead, pull up a recliner and unwind on one of the two terraces or in the flower-filled, scented and well-maintained 1500m2 gardens here. Raphael is a passionate gardener and it shows.

Breakfast or even a candelit dinner will be taken outside when the weather allows.

The house is split across 3 floors. The kitchen and dining room are on the ground floor, 2 bedrooms, the bathroom and a library on the first floor, then the third bedroom on the top floor under the eves. If you only rent one room you will have exclusive use of the facilities, although obviously this arrangement is also ideal for families or friends that know each other

Raphael is passionate about all things 18th century and consequently the house is filled with beautiful antique furniture from that era as well as paintings and other art objects and tapestries. It's all about good taste and understated elegance here!

Breakfast which is served on white porcelain features fresh fruit juice, fresh seasonal fruit (usually from the garden), home made cake, fresh bread and home made jams. There is plenty of parking space at the B&B and there is WiFi throughout the house.
