Ideally placed between junctions 12 and 13 of the A1 autoroute, East of Amiens near Peronne, 60 miles from Paris and Lille and just 40 minutes from Disneyland Paris by direct train (two stops) - local train station just 10 minutes from the chateau by car.
This fine family-owned chateau set in its own parkland benefits from both an outdoor and an indoor swimming pool plus a golf practice area in the grounds. Children's games, table football, table tennis are all available as are bikes to hire. Guests also have their own dedicated sitting room in which to relax plus a kitchen corner for creating quick snacks. .The owners can organise gastronomic meals at a nearby Michelin starred restaurant for that special meal away! In the area you will find riding stables, golf courses plus canoeing/kayaking. There are also numerous signposted walking routes in the Somme Valley
The guest rooms all have clean, bright and modern private bathroom facilities. All rooms are big, light and tastefully decorated and furnished in classic French style. The chateau is a no-smoking area, but smoking is permitted in the grounds. Accompanying pets are not permitted.

The hostellerie is a country inn set in a cluster of beautifully-restored old buildings, including an eleventh - century monastery with vaulted rooms for your meetings and seminars and a delightful country house. There is a very quiet, calm garden behind its old medieval walls, where you will find the excellent swimming pool.
The ancient monk's cells in the monastery have been lovingly transformed into 40 bright, comfortable and delightfully-decorated rooms. They all have air conditioning, satellite TV plus Wifi internet access. The rooms are big and have excellent bathrooms - they are wonderfully cool in summer.
The rooms benefit from several views, from the rooftops, the garden, the distant fields of the ramparts of the village. Sauna and massage are also available at the hotel. This mountain biking and walking holiday is ideal for the more actively inclined. It takes place in a the Vercors area of France, within easy reach of Grenoble or Lyon airports. The break includes 3 guided mountain bike rides (bike hire included) and 2 guided hikes. The price is on a half board basis and also includes picnic lunches. It does not include travel costs to Grenoble or Lyon , personal and equipment insurance or accommodation extras.
