This is luxury chateau accommodation ideally located for a romantic short break on the outskirts of Alencon, close to the A28/N138 road from the Caen area down to the Loire Valley and beyond.This is a classic, family owned, beautifully renovated 15th century chateau situated in parkland in which a 15mx5m heated swimming pool has also been installed. The pool is open from May until the end of September. You can also play badminton, table tennis, trampoline, hire bikes, play ball games or croquet. There are 2 tennis courts 150 mtrs away plus horse-riding 3 miles away. There is a 9 hole golf course 3kms away and an 18 hole course 40kms away. There are also an equestrian centre 20 minutes away
The beautifully decorated guest rooms all are different, all with their own style, but all furnished with antiques and family pieces creating an informal and welcoming atmosphere for that perfect romantic break.
Delicious buffet breakfasts of various breads, croissants, orange juice, delicious artisanal jams made at the neighbouring farm, little cakes and fancies, yoghurts, cheeses cereals are served from 08.30 hrs to 11.00 hrs
Dogs are welcomed for a charge of €10. There is plenty of parking space within the grounds of the chateau

| Romantic candlelit evening meals at individual tables are available for €47 inclusive of aperitif, five courses and coffee - an excellent wine list is available. Meals for children under the age of 10 yrs are served at 19.15 hrs for a cost of approx €13.00 per child. Baby/child listening devices are available for your use during the adult meal. Children of between 10 and 14 yrs are permitted to eat with the adults for approx €20.00 per person |

La chambre des canards
This junior suite of two rooms (50m2) is often used in conjunction with the chambre madame next door as a family suite. The main room has two large single beds which can be made up as a double if required, and a third single bed is in the second room of the suite. There is space for an additional single bed if required. The bathroom with bath, shower and WC is tiled with Provencale tiles. The room has a TV and telephone and wooden pannelling dating back to the 18th century.

A beautifully decorated and restored suite with a four poster bed, little boudoir and a superb view across the parkland towards the swimming pool. This room has a split level bathroom and is often favoured by honeymooners or those celebrating some other special occasion. It is adjacent to the suite des canards.

This room is full of history as it is reputedly the room in whcih Henri IV had a romantic liaison with one of his mistresses, Diane de Courtemanche! It has a double bed, original painted wooden beams dating back to the 16th century and a private balcony overlooking the parkland. Bathroom, shower and WC en suite. TV and telephone also in the room.

Located 50 meters away from the chateau, this new suite offers one of the best view of the park, the chateau and the swimming pool. This large suite ( 55 square meters ) is decorated with a beautiful 19th century stage set - a greenery framed by an old gate opening on an imaginary park - which came from the Barcelona theater. The monumental wood bed is flanked by two old stone cutter's blocks serving as night stands.
The bathroom is a mezzanine overlooking the bedroom. Its lime green patina and jacuzzi bathtub mounted on a platform give the room a dramatic flair. The heated floors, the high windows of the original orangerie, and the extraordinary dimensions of this room make it truly unique. For your comfort you will also find a flat screen TV set with DVD and CD players.
