Recently renovated British-owned farmhouse offering charming bed and breakfast b&b accommodation in a peaceful farming hamlet in the Vendee region of France, 50km from la Rochelle airport. Located only 15 mins from the A83 motorway, 3km from the village of St Hilaire des Loges, 2k from the bustling small market town of Coulonges sur l'Autize, and close to the historical towns of Fontenay le Comte and Niort and just 50m minutes from The Atlantic Coast and la Rochelle.
The guest dining room also doubles as a lounge area, and outside there is a large garden area with picnic bench which you are welcome to use during your stay. Continental breakfast is included in the price and will include, of course, croissants and pains aux chocolats, plus preserves, cereals, fruit and French bread etc as standard. Your hosts can also provide a cooked English breakfast if you prefer, for a small extra charge. There are also a number of good restaurants within easy reach for your evening meal.
