This is classic French family-owned chateau bed and breakfast accommodation which offers a romantic break away option. Ideally placed between junctions 12 and 13 of the A1 autoroute, East of Amiens near Peronne, 60 miles from Paris and Lille and just 40 minutes from Disneyland Paris by direct train (two stops) - local train station just 10 minutes from the chateau by car.
This fine family-owned chateau set in its own parkland benefits from both an outdoor and an indoor swimming pool plus a golf practice area in the grounds. Children's games, table football, table tennis are all available as are bikes to hire. Guests also have their own dedicated sitting room in which to relax plus a kitchen corner for creating quick snacks. The owners can organise gastronomic meals at a nearby Michelin starred restaurant for that special meal away! In the area you will find riding stables, golf courses plus canoeing/kayaking. There are also numerous signposted walking routes in the Somme Valley
The guest rooms all have clean, bright and modern private bathroom facilities. All rooms are big, light and tastefully decorated and furnished in classic French style. The chateau is a no-smoking area, but smoking is permitted in the grounds. Accompanying pets are not permitted. There is WiFi internet access in the chateau.

In a holiday/business trip filled with exciting places to stay, the Chateau was definitely a highlight of our time in Europe. Just to let you know we had a lovely weekend staying at the chateau bed and breakfast accommodation near Peronne in the Somme. The rooms were very nice and clean and spacious. They invited us for dinner on the Saturday night as they knew it had been my husband's birthday. We ate with them and their 4 boys and had a lovely french meal. Our 3 children also enjoyed playing table football with their boys. It was like staying with friends - the Jens family, UK.

The Chateau near Peronne was beautiful and very clean (the bathroom was very large and spotless!). The original antique beds were beautiful but not the most comfortable. The children's folding beds were fine even though they skidded across the polished oak floors! Just to let you know that we were delighted with the accommodation at the chateau. The rooms were spacious, clean and had a real 'French' character to them. The owners were very welcoming and friendly. The evening meals were delicious (wines with every course!) and the breakfasts substantial. We met many people who were also staying at the Chateau - Belgians, Germans, Canadians and Australians - and this added to the enjoyment of the holiday. We have just returned from our break at the Chateau near Peronne in the Somme area. They were extremely good hosts and couldn't have been more helpful, even printing off train timetables for us.
