Previous visitor comments
What a wonderful location, huge bedrooms, very warm welcome by Mr & Mrs Marro, who organised train times and instructions for us to visit Paris for the day. We all enjoyed a lovely walk in the grounds, she even supplied wellingtons. The breakfast was excellent. My wife and mothers first choice. all nice and clean too. - The Woottens, UK

The chateau north of Paris was a grand and impressive building with equally grand surroundings (grazing deer included in our room's view at no extra charge!) Hosts were very helpful and breakfast was lovely - Thanks - The Lambeths, 2007

The chateau near Beauvais north of Pairs is a gem! It was like stepping back in time. At first glance it looks a little run down but still a fantastic building. Madame and Monsieur could not have been more welcoming, taking the time to show us around. Inside, the chateau did not disappoint. Sympathetically restored, not renovated, and thank goodness! Nothing looked out of place. We had three children with us, aged 0, 4 and 8 years. The room was fantastic. From the high ceilings, to the fabric covered walls, to the shutters on the windows. I even managed to see a roebuck early hours of the morning. My only regret about this stay is that it wasn't more than one night! A table was reserved for us at the local restaurant -another recommendation! The beds were comfy and a full set of towels was provided for each person. A lot of thought had gone into furnishing the room. We even had cotton wool and cotton buds provided. Breakfast was fantastic. Everything fresh and/or homemade - even the teabags. The experience was simply excellent. The chateau is beautiful and very helpful and friendly hosts. I cannot recommend this enough. - The Gordon-Parrys, 2007

Just thought I would let you know that we were delighted with our stay at the chateau near Beauvais and Paris. If you like old buildings with character and a history this is the place. Madame made us feel so welcome and we spent ages just wandering in the grounds watching the wildlife. Could not fault anything. - The Midwinters, 2008
