This is a beautifully renovated guest house offering quality bed and breakfast accommodation in the centre of Arras in the Somme area of Northern France, 1 hour south of Calais. The accommodation is ideally situated, just a step away from the town square, the belfry, the 'Abbaye Saint Vaast', from restaurants and other businesses and just 850 m from Arras rail station.
The building dates back to the 18th century and was lucky to have survived the bombings of the 2nd World War. It has been beautifully and authentically renovated by its present owners, with the preservation of the original tiled and wooden floors, the restoration of carved woodwork and also of the original fireplaces. Today, guests have use of two salons on the ground floor, of a winter garden and also a patio in finer weather. A free supply of hot and cold drinks is available in the dining room
There is a public car park in front of the house on the Place Guy Mollet. It is necessary to pay from Monday to Saturday from 9h to 12h and then from 14h to 18h. There is also the possibility of private parking by prior arrangement. There is wifi internet access here.

On the first floor, this room has a double bed 160 x 200 cm in size. It has an en suite bathroom with a large modern shower. A TV and audio equipment along with some CDs are available for your use. The room has beautifully restored wooden floorboards and is furnished with antique furniture collected over time either by the former owner of the house or by the present owners.

On the 2nd floor of the house, this charming room has a standard sized double bed 140 x 190cm in size and an en suite bathroom with a large modern shower. A TV and audio equipment along with some CDs are available for your use. The old tiled floor has enjoyed a painstaking renovation and an old oak beam in the bathroom has been uncovered. The room has a warm, cosy feel thanks to the use of reds and golds in the colour scheme

On the 2nd floor of the guest house, this suite has 2 single beds, each 90 x 200 cm in size, which can be made up into a king-size double bed if required. There is also sufficient space in the suite to add an additional double bed and possibly also another single bed. The suite benefits from a small kitchenette and a bathroom with a spa bath. In common with the other rooms, the suite has a TV and audio equipment along with some CDs . The décor of the suite gives it a more modern feel than the other rooms, whilst it still retains the original features.
