Bed & breakfast accommodation in the village of Bois-en-Ardres 10 miles south east of Calais. This fine 19th century bourgeois house opens onto a park of some 6 500 m² in size. Whilst it is fully modernised, it has retained its authentic character.
Guests can enjoy the garden in warmer months, making is of the sun loungers and garden tables provided by your hosts. Guests also have use of the lovely lounge where they will find books and tourist information and a multi channel TV.
By prior arrangement only, pets are welcome for a charge of 3 euros per night. All rooms have a kettle plus tea and coffee provisions. |

These two lovely rooms on the second floor (up some steep stairs) each have a double bed. They are ideal for a family or a group of friends. You shut the door to the stairs and you have a self-contained unit, comprising of the two bedrooms and the separate shower and WC. The stripped floor boards mean your dog can be acommodated without a problem.

Just to let you know that we were very pleased indeed with our one-night stopover at the bed and breakfast accommodation near Calais. The house is lovely, the room was very pleasant and comfortable, the breakfast was very generous indeed, and Mme Balloy was extremely welcoming, friendly, chatty and helpful. Even Chouchou le chat was very charming too. Also it's handy for the Tunnel (and Calais ferries) but off the beaten track enough to be quiet and relaxing after a long drive. We have just returned from our short stay at the b&b near Calais and wanted to let you know immediately that this B&B is a very special place and please don't let too many people know about it, or we won't be able to get in when next we want to go! Just to let you know that we had a lovely one night stay at the b&b in Bois-en-Adres near Calais. The owners were really friendly, M Balloy chatted with the kiddies and even took care of them in the garden while we looked at the rooms. The rooms were clean and beautifully decorated and breakfast was fresh and plentiful!

We just wanted to say thankyou for finding a real gem of a property for us (the bed and breakfast accommodation near Calais, ref 294). Travelling with children can be a nightmare, but we found a perfect home, where we were made so welcome, even with 3 young monsters to cater for! We stayed on the top floor, to all intents and purposes, our own self contained apartment. The Balloys were fantastic, and the children had the best of times exploring the vast grounds. Like others before, we don't want too many people to find out about this haven. Hard to believe it is so close to Calais, yet a real rural idyll.
