Excellent value, budget bed & breakfast accommodation near Calais, just 12 miles South of Calais and just 2 minutes off the A26 autoroute. It is in an ideal location for an overnighter, for a ski stopover or as a base from which to explore the pretty surrounding area.
Rooms look out onto lawns and trees and are independent from the main house. Picnic tables are available as well as swings for the children. There is also a communal kitchen area with a table, gas hob, microwaves, pots, pans, crockery and cutlery.
A warm and friendly English speaking welcome assured, children and disabled people welcome. There are restaurants at Berthem 1km, Nordausques 2Km and at Ardres 5Km
Dogs are not accepted at this address
The renowned 18 hole course at the AA Saint Omer golf club at Acquin Westbecourt is a short drive away

Le petit gite
This two-floored gite (total area 60m2), although normally let as self-catering accommodation, can be let on a bed and breakfast basis when the other rooms are booked. It can accommodate up to six people and is simply but adequately furnished with pine furniture. On the ground floor there is a sitting area and a kitchen area with dining facilities. The bathroom and WC are also at ground floor level. On the first floor is a bedroom with three single beds and a mezzanine with a double bed for two people. There is also a bed-settee capable of accommodating a single person. The gite has a shower and WC and does have heating.

I have just returned from France and had a great nights stay at the bed and breakfast accommodation near Calais. I can highly recommend it to anyone looking for simple but very friendly accommodation. We arrived at 10pm and were welcomed by the very friendly owner. He gave us lots of helpful information about the area. The added bonus was the winery on site which meant he was able to sell us some wine at 10pm which was exactly what we needed to unwind after an 8 hour drive.
