This clean, friendly 3 star hotel is located in the centre of Calais just 1 minute from the rail station, 3 minutes from the ferries and 10 minutes from the tunnel. It offers recently renovated and characterful rooms at very decent prices. We were impressed with the cleanliness and style of the rooms which is rare in such places.
All bedrooms have double glazing. All rooms have English cable TV including CNN and Eurosport, mini bar and telephone.
Dogs are permitted at the hotel for a fee of €8 per day. The hotel has a private car park for which a daily fee is payable. The hotel also has a night porter to accommodate late arrivals |

Previous visitor comments I found the hotel in Calais to be of unusual quality and cleanliness for a French hotel. I
usually try to avoid France but had reason to want to stay in Calais that one night. The Hotel room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Ours stretched from the street on the front to the back so even on a slightly warm day we had a nice cool cross draft. The staff were friendly and courteous, which I have found sadly lacking in French attitudes towards
Americans. The restaurant had to have served the best meal I have eaten in France. It has a cheery, pleasant atmosphere with a friendly staff. I would recommend this hotel and restaurant to anyone as a comfortable, reasonably priced, central location to stay in Calais. We would certainly stay there again. - the Monroes, 2007 |
