Chateau bed and breakfast accommodation in this fine 17th century chateau located off junction 16 of the A5 autoroute or junction 13 of the A6 South of Paris, 6 miles from Fontainebleau. The accommodation is just 45kms by the autoroute from Aéroport d'Orly and 80kms by the autoroute from Aéroport de Roissy Charles De Gaulle. The nearest rail station is 2kms away at Bois le Roi where a 25 min train journey will get you into Paris Gare de Lyon station. It is possible to hire cars from Bois le Roi rail station.
The chateau is set on the banks of the Seine in the midst of a 5 acre park and French formal garden. The interior décor is refined and discreet with antique furniture and rugs and guests have the use of a large salon/library where they can relax.
The guest rooms all have en suite bathroom with tub and WC and are decorated in traditional French style.
Although evening meals are not provided at this address, there are good restaurants from half a mile away and particularly in Fontainebleu

This is a beautiful Chateux and well worth a stay. The hostess, Peggy, is charming and creates a homely environment in luxurious rooms with a terrific breakfast. No evening meal facilities but a good local restaurant is only 10 minutes walk back along Ave Foch ( the name escapes me but I think it was called The Chateau, as in Swiss) anyway, its at the first stop sign and the food is really good and reasonable price. No English spoken so you have to make the effort in French. - the Bloomfields, UK
We have just returned to NZ this weekend, and I can report that Peggy's accommodation at the chateau near Fontainebleau near Paris was superb. The suite was lovely, her 'house' is great. Peggy was very welcoming, and our two children spent the evening playing happily with Peggy's 6-year old Juliette, even though there was a major language problem between them!
