British-owned chateau bed and breakfast accommodation in Normandy which is an ideal location for a romantic break in France. It is located 25km South of Caen in the Suisse Normandie. The chateau dates back to the 13th century and was once occupied by the Duc d'Harcourt. It has now been sympathetically restored to offer elegant and comfortable accommodation. This is an ideal base for exploring the Landing beaches, Honfleur, Deauville etc.
Three guest rooms are available, all offering tea and coffee making facilities with quality ingredients and fresh milk, mineral water and biscuits. There is a good selection of books and magazines and a hairdryer is provided.
The house is a no smoking zone and accompanying pets are not accepted. Plenty of parking space available. |

About the meals
|
|
Your hostess is an accomplished cook who uses home grown produce from the kitchen garden and excellent ingredients from local farms and markets. Guests are offered a choice between a restaurant style 4 course dinner (€50 per person inc. wine) and a brasserie style 3 course supper (€36 per person inc. wine)

Evening meal costs are payable directly to the accommodation. Meals are only available by prior reservation.
Credit card payments are not accepted by this accommodation for meals.

Latest arrival if you wish to have a meal is 19:00.
Alternatively the light supper is available for people arriving before 22:00.

Your own stairs lead you to a large luxurious bathroom with a bathtub (with shower facilities), a hand basin, bidet and separate WC. There is even a window seat where you can sit and watch the nesting house martins. In addition to a built-in wardrobe, this suite also has a further luggage/clothes closet.
