This British-owned bed and breakfast accommodation is located in the quaint village of St.Bomer Les Forges, 5 minutes from the medieval hilltop town of Domfront in Normandy, 1h15m south of the ferry port of Caen. Your British hosts have vast experience in the hospitality industry having spent most of their working careers aboard cruise ships, running pubs and hotels all over the UK, so a professional, warm welcome is assured.

The 19th century guest house accommodation is set in 3 acres of beautiful gardens. In the evening make yourself comfortable with a book in the drawing room or take a stroll and enjoy a glass of wine in the extensive gardens. Relaxation and tranquillity are assured.

Your hosts have a friendly Staffie dog and on arrival, you will be invited to enjoy a glass of wine or an aperitif before being shown to your room. In warmer months, breakfast is taken outside in the gardens. Otherwise breakfast is taken in the breakfast room which looks onto the village church and the gardens. This room leads onto a large guest lounge for reading, watching television and generally relaxing.

Across the road is the local 'relais' where you can get an evening meal, within 6kms is the medieval town of Domfront which has a variety of restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets and 12 to 15 kms away is Bagnole de L'Orne and Flers. The former is a beautiful spa and casino town with superb dining and the latter a large town with good shopping and numerous bars, restaurants and relais.
