This British-owned 270 year old farmhouse offers charming bed and breakfast accommodation in the village of St Louet-sur-Vire in Normandy, a tiny hamlet close to the N174 and midway between Saint Lô and Vire, less than 10 minutes from the A84 (Caen-Rennes) autoroute. It is the perfect base to visit Bayeux, Mont St Michel and the D-Day landing beaches of Normandy as well as a great location for activity holidays, golf or just a quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle of modern living. Just 2km from La Thiaumèrie is a riding school where it is possible to hire equipment and book rides in the local countryside. There are several excellent golf courses within a 45 minute including Omaha Beach, Vire, Granville and Agen-Coutainville. Bikes can be hired locally and there are many good walks in the area
The accommodation is set in ½ an acre of its own private gardens, surrounded by fields of dairy cattle and apple trees. The garden has its own well, many shrubs and fruit trees and in summer you can play table tennis and boules. Inside, guests have use of a lounge in which they can relax
All rooms have tea/coffee-making facilities and hair-driers.
