View Map of General Location (opens in new window)
Charming bed and breakfast accommodation in this British-owned 18th Century watermill, half an hour NE of Rouen, ideally placed as a stopover off junction 7 of the A28 autoroute. The mill, complete with wheel, dates from 1789 (the year of the French Revolution) and is situated in the heart of the Pays de Bray in Normandy. It was sympathetically restored in the 1970s with sections of the original mill workings incorporated into the salon and staircase. In recent years it has been modernized with new bathrooms added to give rooms a private shower or bathroom.
Dogs are not accepted at this address. The house is a no-smoking area. Note that you will need to take your own cot bedding if a hire cot is required |

Dairy produce is provided by local farms and vegetables from the owners’ garden and fruit from the orchard are used depending on seasonal availability.

Previous visitor comments The bed and breakfast accommodation near Rouen was excellent. The food both for breakfast and evening meal was superb. The hosts were very friendly and we spent very convivial evening in their company. We would stay there again if we were passing that
way. - the Selbys, 2007
Just to say we very much enjoyed our night at the bed and breakfast accommodation near Rouen. It was a very restful place and ideal for a stopover. Lynne and Duncan are very hospitable hosts and we felt it was good value for money. Thank You for your help arranging it - the Williams 2008 |
