This charming 16th century manor house offers bed and breakfast guest house accommodation 2kms from the town of Valognes, 20 minutes south of Cherbourg and just 10 minutes from the American Landing Beaches and Sainte Mère l’Eglise.

The hosts also have an independent cottage in the grounds of the manor house which can be let on a bed and brealfast basis if it is not already booked for self-catering.
On the ground floor (35 m2) there is a living/dining room with sofas, large old fire place and a bar with basic cooking facilities ( microwave, fridge).
On the first floor there is a large bedroom (20 m2) with a queen size bed and a single bed. The bathroom is equipped with bath-tub, wash-hand basin, WC, wood floor in bamboo. An extra bed can be added in the living room. The cottage is suitable for 3 adults or2 adults and 2 children. It has electric heating and has a private garden and a patio with table and chairs

Having returned from France and just written to the owners of the bed and breakfast accommodation near Cherbourg where we had a fantastic time I must write to you to express that our great week started on the first night in a wonderful property. It is worth
mentioing to people that M Bonnifet is worth talking to about the property as he has gathered together a lot of info on the property's history (even if discussing it in mixed French & English). He was a great host welcoming us at 10.30 ish in a warm manner and setting us up with a fantastic breakfast the next morning. I would have no hesitation in recommending this Manoir to anyone looking for a bed and breakfast stopover (or even longer) near Cherbourg in Normandy. The proprty was clean, warm and just amazingly interesting. We will use the property again and will recommend friends of ours to be in contact as well. - the Pyes, 2006
We have arrived back in Australia after a wonderful holiday in Europe. The stay in Normandy was excellent, and the accomodation you organised for us near Cherbourg was very very good. I am happy to commend the manor house we stayed at - the rooms were excellent, the breakfast very nice, and the host was a lovely man. The grounds were lovely, and we have great memories of drinking apple cider and eating cake at 10pm in the grounds of the manor farm.
