This truly characterful bed and breakfast guest house is in an ideal location, just a 2 minute walk from the old port of Honfleur. Situated in the old quarter of Honfleur, the guest rooms look on to the peaceful garden and terrace area where breakfast is taken in warmer weather.

This is a 90m2, 2nd floor apartment (attention, steep narrow stairs not suitable for young children, the elderly or less mobile) which overlooks your hosts' garden and is ideal for a family of up to 6 people. It is full of character with old painted oak beams and original features and has 2 bedrooms, one with a standard 140cm wide double bed and the other with two single beds. An additional 2 single beds can be incorporated if required. The apartment also has a sitting room and a large, fully equipped kitchen. One of the bedrooms and the kitchen look onto the garden.
The atelier has a bathroom with tub and WC. Breakfast is taken in the coffee shop on the ground floor of the apartment block.

You asked for feedback on the accommodation in Honfleur. It is basic but adequate and quite charming, apparently part of an old convent with a small courtyard. It is popular and was full on both nights of our stay. Liliane is a character and perfectly suited to the role. She speaks a little English but reasonable French is an asset for visitors. Car parking is very limited but Liliane was most helpful in accommodating us in this respect. Breakfast was very basic but average for France! A more imaginative approach would certainly be appreciated by British visitors, not necessarily "full English" but the odd egg or ham would relieve the boredom of bread, preserves and croissants. We had a fabulous weekend in Honfleur, thanks in large part to the wonderful hospitality of Liliane Giaglis and her husband were more than helpful. I think that the person who left the previous feedback must be accustomed to anonymous hotels. We have stayed in numerous b&bs all over France and this came high up on our list. It is not what I would call basic and it is more than adequate. Perhaps the property, now upgraded, is different to his experience. A lovely relaxed place to stay, warm welcome and an excellent location for a short stroll into the delightful town of Honfleur. Our accommodation was fabulous and our litle girl was made to feel very welcome. The breakfast was very nice but we would have preferred to have had it in the pretty garden instead of the rather cramped coffee shop next door!!
