This pretty manor house bed and breakfast accommodation in Normandy dates back to the 15th century and is ideally placed just 30 minutes from Cherbourg, 5 minutes from Sainte-Mère-L'eglise and 5 minutes from Utah beach.
The guest house is in a peaceful location surrounded by gardens where you can relax on a warm summer evening. Guests also have use of a 'salon' and library which has a big fireplace which will warm you on cooler evenings and where you can enjoy free WiFi internet access.. Guests also have use of garden furniture, table tennis, mountain bikes and TV. There is a golf course 10 minutes away, horse-riding centre 10 minutes away and also good walking on your doorstep. Sea fishing is also possible just 5 minutes from the manoir. Cycle hire is possible at the accommodation.
The non-smoking guest rooms all have en suite bathrooms with bath tub with a shower with body jets for a relaxing massage. All rooms are furnished with antique furniture

Chantal and Pascal were great. Their hospitality was really very nice. They had no problems with us showing up even later then expected and still yet offered us a cup of tea! The manor is absolutely wonderful... I have never slept in a more peaceful surrounding. Quiet is an understatement!! They have done a wonderful job making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms were very clean and the newly renovated bathrooms are great. I highly recommend this manor to anyone. Pascal makes wonderful cake and a great pot of coffee. Recently stayed at property 232 south of Cherbourg in Normandy, unfortunately only for 1 night. We cannot speak highly enough of this beautiful manor house and the wonderful hospitality of the hosts Chantel and Pascal. The property is delightful. Just a quick word about our stay. We stayed for three nights at the bed and breakfast ref 232 in St Mere Eglise, Normandy. We were on a D-day discovery mission and the accomodation is excellently placed for all the relevant stops and just five minutes from Utah beach. Excellent accomodation with wonderful hosts.The property is also worth considering because of its proximity to Cherbourg should you be returning on the early ferry. Just 30 mins from the accomodation. Eating out is restricted but the two "Allo Allo" restaurants we used were excellent - The Jones family, UK
