This British-owned, newly renovated maison de vignerons which dates back to the 1800s offers excellent value bed & breakfast b&b accommodation just 7 km from Narbonne on the south west coast of France. It is just 20 mins from the Mediterranean and the beach resorts of Narbonne Plage, St Pierre and the port of Gruissan , great for waters ports and relaxing. The Aude has a wealth of history and culture, Narbonne with it's Roman connections, Carcassonne and the Cathar castles, not forgetting the picturesque Canal du Midi with it's magnificent plane trees. There are coastal lagoons, the limestone pine clad massifs, the majestic Pyrénees mountains, all provide a taste of what this région has to offer and that's before you mention the wine, Minervois, Corbières, Fitou, St Chinian…..!

Guests have use of a magnificent muralled sitting room with scenes of "La chasse" in the nearby Montagnes Noire. Here you are welcome to sit and relax. Breakfast may be enjoyed here or if you prefer the morning sun then in the garden. The secret courtyard is available for guests to enjoy a BBQ and sample local wine and there is even a swimming pool for your enjoyment in hotter months!!

The house has three bed and breakfast guest bedrooms available. These light and spacious rooms have many original features, antique furniture and new en-suite bath or shower rooms with private WC. This is a no-smoking household. Pets are not permitted

There is a restaurant 200m away which serves good French food and has a warm welcome and a choice of menus. Guests are also free to bring takeaways such a pizza to the house and eat it in the garden or in the salon – plates, cutlery, glasses etc can be provided. Guests have use of a private garage during their stay.
