This is British-owned self-catering accommodation in the Champagne region of France, only 3 hours from Calais, 45 minutes from Reims, 30 minutes from Châlons en Champagne and 30 minutes from the historic town of Verdun, also just 90 minutes from Disneyland Resort Paris, ideally placed for a ski stopover en route to the major ski resorts.
The two charming, fully equipped gites are set amidst the surroundings of an old French manoir. It is a quiet, country village location with 5 acres of rural gardens for walking and relaxing. Private patio areas for outdoor dining and barbeques are available. Evening meals and breakfasts with children's menu are available all year and food is served either in your gite or in the garden. 24 hour, self-service reception with large selection of wines and Champagnes. A 6 x 3.5 metre, unheated swimming pool is available during summer months with swimming towels provided. Childrens games and toys are available and also a range of baby equipment at no extra charge. Bike hire is available all year from the owners who are on hand 24 hours a day to help plan or arrange day trips. Suggested activities include, forest walks, historic WW1 sites and visits to Champagne houses which are a short drive away.
Free WiFi connectivity and cheap local and international calls are available directly from the gites. There is also a guest computer available in reception.

The gite 'Mirabelle'
The gite 'Mirabelle', named after the yellow plums growing in the garden, is a large well appointed, self contained first floor apartment situated within the manoir. It has its own private entrance via an original staircase which is a little steep. The gite has 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom and a comfortable double sofa bed in the living room making it suitable for up to six people.
The family bathroom features a traditional style roll top bath, two wash basins, bidet and WC and large separate shower. The living room/dining area has a TV/DVD unit, a large extending French oak dining table and a very comfortable fully sprung sofa bed. A travel cot and high chair are available at no extra charge.
The master bedroom has a four poster bed and, wide screen English TV and DVD with home cinema surround sound system. Good views over the garden.
A library of over 300 DVD's, including a childrens selection are available for rental upon request.
A small, well equipped kitchenette is fitted with washing machine combination oven/microwave oven, hob and fridge. Some essential items provided; English tea, instant and filter coffee, olive oil and condiments, washing up liquid, washing powder and toilet roles.
There are a number of fine local restaurants within a short drive catering for every taste and pocket. Guests are welcome to enjoy the gardens of the manoir for barbeques in the summer months, walking or just sitting and relaxing. A local boulangerie delivers fresh crusty bread outside the manoir Tuesday's to Sundays, listen for his horn at around 10am.

This four room, self contained gite cottage is situated to the side of the manoir and benefits from direct access to the 5 acre garden. It has its own private entrance and patio area.
Living room with log burning stove (logs provided the Autumn, Winter and Spring months). A comfortable double sofa bed makes the gite suitable for up to 4 people.
