This English owned renovated former winemaker's home offers charming bed and breakfast accommodation in the heart of Champagne in the grand cru village of Mailly-Champagne, 15 minutes easy drive from Reims and 25 minutes from Epernay. The guest house lies on the 'Route Touristique de la Champagne and is ideally placed for touring the Champagne villages and caves and for walking in the Natural Park. The new TGV rail station is a 10 minute easy drive away, ideal for day trips to Paris. The Euro Disney park is a 50 minute motorway drive away.
Guests have use of a comfortable lounge with TV and a garden with enclosed private courtyard and BBQ. Smoking is not permitted in the house and accompanying animals are not accepted at this address. Although the village is not well served with restaurants, Reims is just a short drive away. There is also a simple bar/restaurant which serves snack type meals 3 km away in the next village and there is also a very good restaurant with menus at around €55 per head there. Note however that guests staying on a Monday night may have problems eating locally, but there will be places open in Reims. The accommodation offers free WiFi internet access.

This is a recently refurbished village property which had been very tastefully done. Very simple and effective. The place maybe lacked just a little feminine touch as there were no toiletries (hand soap, shower gel etc) provided (didn't matter as we had come well prepared). The bed and breakfast accommodation in Maille near Reims in Champagne was delightful. The rooms were spotless and the use of our own sitting/dining room was ideal.
