This is charming bed and breakfast accommodation located just 15 minutes south of Reims (handy for Reims airport) on a renowned vineyard estate in the peaceful village of Ludes in the Champagne region. This is a family run champagne house, established in 1930 from which the champagne produced can be found on the wine lists of gourmet restaurants in France and around the globe, clear testament to their consistent pursuit of perfection. The estate works their own predominantly Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier vineyards in the Premier and Grand Cru villages of Ludes and Mailly Champagne.
Guest rooms are available in the main house which is surrounded by parkland and 50% of their vineyards and beneath which are the cellars in which thousands of bottles of champagne are stored - all b&b guests are offered a commentated visit and a tasting. From personal experience, I can confirm that the Champagne is truely delicious and fantastic value at around 22 euros a bottle!
Guests have use of two separate sitting areas on the ground floor where tea and coffee-making facilities are available and a fridge is stocked with an 'honesty bar' of bottles and half-bottles of Champagne which are available for purchase.
The nearest excellent quality restaurants are a 5/10 min drive, one in the village of Sillery and the other in Montchenot

We stayed at the accommodation near Reims and it was fabulous - brilliant hostess and team, beautiful room and breakfast. We stayed over our wedding anniversary and had a fabulous meal accompanied by a different champagne from the house with every course. We stayed a night this lovely accommodation in Ludes, Champagne and found the place charming. It was very clean, the owners were very welcoming and friendly, and we were escorted around their champagne producing grounds. We enjoyed a substantial breakfast with cold meats, cheeses, croissants, bread, conserves, cereals and tea or coffee. There was information about where to eat, and about the area.
