This charming bed and breakfast accommodation represents excellent value and is situated 50 kms south of Orléans, just 10 minutes from exit 3 of the A71 autoroute, ideal not only for a stopover on your route to or from the Channel ports but also for a longer stay to visit the chateaux of the Loire Valley.
The old brick-built house is in the peaceful little Sologne village of Chaumont-sur-Tharonne and is surrounded by a flower-filled garden in which there is a quaint gazebo under which breakfast can be served in season. There is an excellent restaurant in the village (closed on Wednesday evenings) at which you can get an evening meal.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome at this address for a nightly fee of €5.00 (the owners have two spaniels themselves) and WiFi internet access is available in all rooms.
You will be offered a welcome drink on arrival. All rooms have a TV (French channels) and a bottle of water provided. They have all been furnished with items that have been painstakingly and lovingly restored by the former antique dealer owners. Your hosts do speak some English
