This British-owned 18th century farmhouse is located 30 kilometres from Chateauroux and 8 kilometres from the historical medieval town of Argenton-sur-Creuse and within just 10 minutes of the A20 Paris-Toulouse autoroute (6.5 hrs from Calais). The Brenne National Park is just 20 minutes away where you can anjoy bird watching, canoeing, cycling, golf, horse-riding, rambling or water sports at the Lake in Eguzon. It is also a haven for fishermen, with lakes in abundance.

Malcolm and Edward have lovingly restored the old farmhouse to a high standard, retaining many original features to create a warm, homely atmosphere for your stay. The house is set in 2 acres of land in which there is a vegetable garden and where you will also find free range ducks and chickens. For relaxing and alfresco dining there is the newly planted garden with above ground swimming pool. Your hosts have a friendly dog and cat and you are welcome to bring your own dog.

Breakfast includes fruit juices, cereals, yogurts and eggs cooked any way you like. It is served in the dining room until late. Where possible your hosts serve organic meat from a local farm www.le-bois.biz and newly lain eggs from the hen house.

Please note that you will need to provide your own cot bedding if you require use of the hire cot The house is a no smoking zone although you can smoke outside in the garden if necessary. The accommodation has free WiFi internet access.
