This charming Anglo/French owned bed and breakfast address is located 25km south of Tours and just 10km from Loches in the central Loire Valley region of France. It is ideally situated for exploring the cultural riches of the region, from the chateaux to the abbeys and gardens, not to mention the many vineyards of the area.
The accommodation is in a typical 'longere' building, in the midst of a 5000m2 wooded park. It dates back to the 13th century and was completely renovated in the 1990s and transformed into the bed and breakfast accommodation that we see today. The location is peaceful and the way of life easygoing. Guests can relax in the gardens, on the terrace with it's view of the sunflower fields, or in one of the salons which are reserved for guests to use. Table tennis and table football are available as well as badminton and a fitness area. It is also possible to hire bikes in order to explore the many cycleways of the area.
The guest rooms are independent from the main house and are all at ground floor level, sharing a large salon which has a kitchen corner with microwave, oven, electric hotplates, fridge and crockery. All of the bedrooms have superior quality bed linen. Baby equipment such as cot, baby bath and high chair can be provided if required.
Accompanying animals are not accepted at this address. The house is a strictly no-smoking environment. Free WiFi internet access is available in the bedrooms.

We just returned from an absolutely delightful stay at this bed and breakfast accommodation in the Loire Valley The host and hostess are charming and welcoming, making us truly feel as though we were guests in their home. They have renovated the house to make it comfortably modern without sacrificing 13th century charm. The rooms are lovely and comfortable, with renovated bathrooms. This B&B is located in a gorgeous, quiet rural setting but still within easy reach of at least a dozen of the loveliest chateaus in the Loire Valley. We were able to visit two per day. I’ve never been to a B&B as charmingly romantic as this one. The house and rooms are beautifully decorated. It is surrounded on all sides by wheat fields, yet is near enough to the medieval town of Loches for restaurants, shopping, and touring the fascinating old town. The quiet is deep and relaxing. An outdoor sitting area allows for a quiet evening sipping wine and socializing with the other guests. The hostess, Naomi, is British and is always willing to talk at length about the house, the town, and the points of interests to tourists. She also very helpfully translated what French-speaking guests were saying to us at the breakfast table so we could get to know them. Naomi serves wonderful croissants (including chocolate!) for breakfast from a local bakery, as well as the most delicious homemade cherry jam I have ever tasted. We had wonderful dinners twice while we were there. Naomi is a fine cook, and the Friday night dinner was fabulous. She also makes all sumptuous the desserts herself. Her husband Francis, who is French, is the charming host. He serves the wine, carefully chosen to compliment the dinner.
