Quality bed and breakfast guest house accommodation in a former 19th c. gentleman farmer's residence, situated in a very tranquil and quiet location, close to the well-known wine producing areas of Chinon, Bourgueil and Saumur in the Loire Valley. It is an ideal base for discovering the historical chateaux such as Chinon, Azay le Rideau, Rigny Ussé, Langeais, Saumur, Tours, the abbey of Fontevraud. It is also just 2.5 hours from Paris, via the A10 autoroute
The accommodation has a large sunny courtyard, gardens, swimming pool, terrace and private parking. Guests have the use of a large lounge with open fire, billiard table and piano. The accommodation has terracotta sponged walls which give the accommodation a feeling of traditional charm combined with contemporary chic.
The guestrooms all have en suite bathroom facilities, tea and coffee making facilities and also TV. The accommodation has free WiFi internet access.

We very much enjoyed our visit to this bed and breakfast accommodation near Chinon. It is rather up-market and the hosts were very hospitable and friendly. The evening meal was superb which may have been partly due to the fact that the hosts had personal friends staying and we all dined together. Memorable, and very stimulating for those less than fully fluent in French! - the Begleys
