This characterful half timbered bed and breakfast accommodation is located in a calm and peaceful setting the heart of the Forêt d'Orléans 30kms to the East of Orléans and 110kms South of Paris near the village of Vitry-aux-Loges.
The house dates back to the 17th century and is ideally placed for visiting the numerous historical sites of the area such as the Chateaux of Chamerolles, Sully sur Loire, Chenonceau and Blois plus the Abbey at Saint Benoit and the Arboretum des Grandes Bruyères. Golfers will appreciate the 18 hole golf course at Donnery and horse-lovers may wish to visit the equestrian centre at Carouge. You will appreciate the plunge pool which is heated from May to October. There is also a small pond in the grounds which is a pleasant place to relax and unwind after your journey.
On the ground floor, guests have use of the living room with its open log fire which warms the house in colder months. The house is furnished in French country style and has a warm homely atmosphere.
Accompanying pets are not accepted at this address. There is free WiFi internet access at this accommodation. Bikes can be hired subject to a €50 deposit.

Accommodation was excellent, as was our welcome. The house is very characterful and was just what were hoping it would be. Additionally, Mme Boeringer cooked a first class 4 course meal for us, in fact I would go as far as to say it was the best meal we had during our stay in France!
