This boutique, British-owned luxury bed and breakfast accommodation is in the medieval village of Mont-Saint-Jean, just 15 minutes from the A6 autoroute NW of Beaune in Burgundy. Ideally placed as a ski stopover en route to the French Alps, this address offers high-quality accommodation, luxurious surroundings and personalised service. Guests have use of a library, salon and large dining room with hand-painted ceiling panels. The salon and dining room both open onto a large terrace where one can enjoy unobstructed views of a valley and sun all day. Guest also have use of several seating areas outside, which are very private and offer plenty of shade for the hot midday sun.
Breakfast which includes homemade jams, freshly squeezed fruit and vegetable juices, is served in the dining room or terrace (the breakfast can also be served on the balconies of some of the bedrooms) and the complimentary afternoon coffee or tea is served in the library.
The accommodation offers five spacious double bedrooms with private bathrooms, satellite TVs and each decorated with both antique and contemporary furnishings. An 18 hole golf course is a 5 minute drive away. Bike/Cycle hire is also possible for a small fee. Accompanying pets are not accepted. Private parking in grounds of the accommodation. The accommodation has free WiFi internet access.

The 4 course dinner which is served on Thursday and Saturdays is €32 per person. On the other evenings, a lighter meal consisting of cheeses, cold-cuts and selection of breads is available for a cost of €19 per person. Brasserie-style à la carte dinner is available on Mondays and Fridays, offering a selection of starters, main courses and desserts. It can be served from 19h30 to 21h30. Alternatively, a table can be reserved for you at the restaurant in the village which is a 5 minute walk away. Packed lunches are also available on request. |
