This charming bed and breakfast accommodation is located just 20 mins from Auxerre, between Noyers and Vezelay (30km) in Burgundy, within easy reach of exit 21 of the A6 autoroute and also the Chablis vineyards. Ideally placed for visiting the Burgundy vineyards, the former 19th century farmstead has been sympathetically renovated and now provides quality guest house accommodation at very reasonable rates.

There is virtually no traffic passing through the peaceful little village so calm is assured. In finer months, breakfast is taken outside, either in the shade of the barn roof or on the southern terrace of the house. In winter, superb dinners are served in front of the fireplace and in summer outside on the terrace. The accommodation has a private car park. Your hosts speak English. Pets are not accepted.

Previous visitor comments
The owner of the the b&b near Chablis/Auxerre is charming and helpful and his property is absolutely immaculate and tasteful (we stayed in his converted barn with our four children). Fantastic. If you forward this mail to him or pass on our thanks to him, we would be very grateful. Thanks for representing him on your site! - the Robinsons,

As you requested, I am happy to report back regarding our stop at the b&b near Auxerre and Chablis. In simple terms words cannot do justice to either the quality of the accomodation or the quality of the meal which was served. The accomodation was excellent - very clean, comfortable and beutifully presented. We were made most welcome from the first moment Patrick opened the door, he was a superb host and was especially good with my 16 month old grand daugther who took to him from the off! The meal in the evening was just fabulous. Fresh local produce cooked to perfection and washed down with 2 local wines selected by Patrick to compliment the menu he had produced! At an inclusive price of 25 euros each it shows what a rip off eating in GB has become. I hope you can tell from the above that this is one truely excellent place for people to stay at! We shall definitely use this venue again when in France and if this is typical of the accommodation you supply then I shall recommend your organisation to anyone and everyone I speak to. Thank you for such an excellent service from start to finish which exceeded all my expectations and for which I commend you. Hope this helps and if you ever want a reference for either your service or Patrick's wonderful home then please do ask! - the Lagdens

We stayed with Patrick and what a beautiful room, wonderful host and excellent food. A really lovely surprise I would definitely return. - Mr & Mrs Barjorinas

Another excellent establishment. The room at this b&b near Auxerre was clean and well presented, inside one of several buildings that are within the courtyard of the farmhouse. The dining room and food served was delightful, so yet another thanks from us for a great stopover - the Talbots

BEAUTIFUL! What a find, not much I can say really apart from beautiful, lovely, welcoming, thoughtful and any other adjectives to describe perfect bed and breakfast accommodation! From the minute we arrived, Patrick our host was sublime from a glorious room to a masterchef award for food! Wonderful! - the Oldfields

We stayed for 2 nights at this B&B near Auxerre, the accommodation was beautiful and the food was superb, however in our opinion it is better suited to people without young children - the Gumbrells
