This old British-owned village farmhouse, renovated to a high standard, offers bed and breakfast guest house accommodation in the village of Epernay-sous-Gevrey in the heart of Burgundy. Located between junctions 1 and 2 of the A31 autoroute just South of Dijon (there is a rail station 5kms away which has trains to Dijon), it is ideally placed for a ski stopover if you are en route to a skiing holiday in the Alps. The house is set in quiet countryside and guests have use of an enclosed garden and sun terrace and will receive a warm welcome from their hosts.
All five guest rooms have new, good quality linen and mattresses
Animals are not permitted at this address and the house is a no-smoking zone. The nearest restaurants are a 5 min drive away. This accommodation now has Wifi for those travelling with their laptop

On a recent trip to the Ardeche, we booked a stopover at the b&b near Nuits St George in Burgundy run by Neil and Pam Aitken and it was a very pleasent, clean, comfortable and well worth the money. The location was quiet and after a day of motorways, toll booths, traffic and very hot weather it was terrific to get a shower, a drink and chill out in the garden. Neil and Pam made us most welcome and my two daughters enjoyed staying there so much we booked another overnight stay for our return journey. We plan to return as soon as we can. After a very long drive from Italy this b&b near Dijon was a perfect place to stay. The rooms were impeccably clean, very comfortable, quiet and cosy and our three children loved the place. There is an excellent hotel and restaurant nearby; the auberge is also smack bang in arguably France's best quality wine area. Neil and Pam were superb hosts - charming, knowledgeable and very generous with coffee and breakfast. We plan to visit again as it was also a very easy place to find. - the Rafique family
