This classic alpine village farmhouse in the northern French Alps has been lovingly converted into boutique bed and breakfast accommodation. Set in the Tarentaise, one of the most beautiful parts of the French Alps, it has all the home-from-home comforts with fantastic skiing, walking, cycling and all manner of mountain sports right on your doorstep. Situated just 7km from Bourg St Maurice and the famous Route des Grandes Alpes (an epic Alpine trail for motorists, bikers and cyclists), and just across the road from the GR5 long distance path, the farmhouse is also a great base or stopover for those touring the Alps on foot, by car or bike. For skiers, the slopes of the massive 420km lift-linked ski resort of Paradiski (les Arcs + la Plagne) are just a short drive away - and you're within 20 mins to an hour's drive of other top class resorts too, including Val d'Isere, La Rosiere, Tignes, Three Valleys and Sainte Foy.

Enjoy comfy beds, designer ensuites and large balconies with views of the nearby mountains, river or village. You can also try the infrared sauna, or relax outside on the sunny garden terraces. Enjoy delicious home cooking, freshly baked cakes, and seasonal produce. Organic meat, dairy produce and vegetables are used wherever possible and your hosts do their best to support artisan producers locally and in the surrounding area. Take your time over a leisurely breakfast which is either served in the dining room or one of the garden terraces. The tasty breakfast includes a choice of tea, coffee, herbal tea or hot chocolate, fresh fruit and bread, organic fruit juices, yogurt and muesli, warm croissants or pains au chocolat

Cots and high chairs can be provided. The farmhouse is very old and has lots of staircases. Unfortunately it is therefore not suitable for toddlers or infirm people. Your hosts have a pet dog who is very friendly and well-behaved.
