This English owned guest house offers bed and breakfast accommodation at Aviernoz in the French Alps, just 6 miles NE of Annecy, 20 minutes from Geneva, 35 minutes from both Le Grand Bornand and La Clusaz ski resorts, within easy reach of the A41 and N203 roads. The famous Plateau des Glières (1,450m) is on the doorstep where you can enjoy cross-country skiing "Ski de Fond", Ski Touring "Ski de Randonnée" or simply a winter wonderland walk on snow shoes "Raquettes". All equipment can be easily hired locally and guiding can be arranged. In the summer months, there are a wealth of walking, hiking, mountain biking routes in the immediate area to suit the novice to the experienced
This is a small, friendly guest house set in a spectacular backdrop of the beautiful countryside of the French Alps and prides itself on offering guests 'a bit of something special'. You will be welcomed by the homely atmosphere as you come through the door.
The 12 spacious bedrooms retain their original charm and character, but now are discreetly equipped with all modern facilities - all have private bathrooms, endless hot water, telephone and Wifi. Most have views stretching out to the surrounding alpine mountains. There are some super restaurants in the immediate vicinity where you can experience the local cuisine.

The auberge has four double rooms in the 'deluxe' category. These are all on the 1st floor and are larger than the standard rooms and have traditional beamed ceilings or access to a balcony. All are en suite with full en-suite bathroom facilities including bath with shower over, hairdryers and personally controlled heating. An extra single bed can be added in some rooms if required.
